March 5, 2013 (TORONTO) – Íâ¹úÃÀŮɫÇéƬ Limited today announced February 2013 trading statistics for its diversified group of exchanges – Toronto Stock Exchange, TSX Venture Exchange, Montreal Exchange (MX), Natural Gas Exchange (NGX), TMX Select and Alpha.

Trading volume on Toronto Stock Exchange in February 2013 decreased 11% compared to last month and was also down 23% compared to the same month last year. Volume on TSX Venture Exchange decreased 9% compared to January 2013 and was down 34% year-over-year. TMX Select trading volume was down compared to last month and year-over year; with decreases of 19% and 10% respectively. Alpha trading volume decreased 16% from last month and was down 22% year-over-year.

Volume on MX was down 4% compared to January 2013, but was up 15% from February last year. Open interest contracts at the end of February 2013 increased 9% from the end of January 2013, but fell 5% compared to the end of February 2012.

Volume on NGX decreased slightly from January 2013, and was down 24% year-over-year.
